Materials Accountant

Due to operational needs, KOINOTI NAV Group of Companies is looking for a Materials Accountant. We are seeking a professional who is proficient in 1C and Microsoft Excel, understands the specifics of construction materials, and can ensure accurate accounting of their receipt, movement, and write-off.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accounting records for the receipt, transfer, storage, and write-off of construction materials and other inventory items.

2. Record business transactions in the 1C accounting system in accordance with established accounting procedures.

3. Verify the accuracy of primary accounting documents, including delivery notes, acceptance and transfer certificates, material transfer documents, and write-off records.

4. Maintain records of material movements between warehouses, construction sites, and employees responsible for material assets.

5. Ensure that construction materials are written off correctly based on the required supporting documentation.

6. Prepare reports on material receipts, consumption, and remaining balances using 1C and Microsoft Excel.

7. Participate in inventory counts, reconcile physical stock balances with accounting records, and identify discrepancies.

8. Coordinate with warehouse personnel, procurement teams, construction sites, and the accounting department on matters related to material movements and documentation.

9. Identify accounting errors and discrepancies, analyze their causes, and assist in resolving them promptly.

10. Ensure the systematic organization and proper storage of accounting documents and prepare the required reports for the assigned area of responsibility.

❗️ Candidate Requirements:

1. A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

2. At least 3 years of experience as a Materials Accountant or Inventory Accountant.

3. Proficiency in the 1C accounting system and practical experience in inventory and materials accounting.

4. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including working with spreadsheets, formulas, filters, and pivot tables.

5. Knowledge of accounting principles related to the receipt, transfer, and write-off of materials.

6. Understanding of the construction industry and different types of construction materials.

7. Knowledge of primary accounting documentation procedures and inventory count processes.

8. Ability to reconcile accounting records with physical stock balances and identify discrepancies.

9. Ability to work efficiently with large volumes of documents and information.

10. Knowledge of accounting and tax legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
