KOINOTI NAV Group of Companies is looking for a Chief Accountant to join the Accounting and Legal Department at its Head Office as part of its efforts to strengthen financial discipline.

We are looking for more than just a professional who ensures accurate accounting and reporting. We need a highly qualified Chief Accountant who can establish a systematic accounting function, ensure financial transparency and data reliability, lead a team, and serve as a trusted professional partner to business management.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

1. Organize and oversee the full cycle of accounting and tax operations in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Company's internal standards.

2. Ensure timely and accurate closing of reporting periods and preparation of financial, tax, and management reports.

3. Monitor the accurate recording of business transactions, settlements, liabilities, revenues, and expenses.

4. Manage the accounting team by assigning responsibilities, setting deadlines, and monitoring the quality of work.

5. Oversee the Company's tax obligations, ensure timely tax calculations and payments, and minimize tax and financial risks in compliance with applicable legislation.

6. Organize reconciliations and inventory counts, and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.

7. Liaise with tax authorities and other government agencies, banks, auditors, and external consultants.

8. Participate in the automation and improvement of accounting processes, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.

9. Develop and regularly update internal regulations, accounting policies, and control procedures.

10. Provide management with reliable financial information, identify potential risks, and proactively recommend appropriate solutions.

❗️ Candidate Requirements:

1. A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

2. At least 7 years of experience in accounting, including a minimum of 3 years as a Chief Accountant.

3. In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.

4. Practical experience in independently managing period-end closing procedures and preparing all mandatory financial and tax reports.

5. Experience in handling tax inspections, financial audits, and other regulatory reviews.

6. Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and readiness to apply them in practice.

7. Proficiency in 1C 8.3, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting systems; experience in accounting process automation will be considered an advantage.

8. Possession of "Financial Accounting 1" and "Taxation" certificates or successful completion of the corresponding examinations.

9. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to identify financial and tax risks before they become significant issues.

10. A high level of professional ethics, responsibility, and commitment to confidentiality.
